Bridal Expo at The Loft of Elements Preserved, Elgin | Chicago Wedding Venue
I don't normally participate in many bridal expo's, but this past weekend I was invited to participate in the most elegant little bridal boutique and of course I had to say yes! It was hosted by The Loft of Elements Preserved, a gorgeous light-filled space for intimate weddings and other small events. It is located in historic downtown Elgin, which is perfect for those wanting a venue with an artsy loft-vibe without the headaches of downtown Chicago (hello parking!). It can be hard to find vendors that are willing to work on the smaller scale that intimate weddings and elopements often require, so I wanted to share a few amazing vendors for you to consider if you are planning your wedding (large or small!)
Isn't my little set up cute? The Loft of Elements Preserved has a sister business called Elements Preserved and provides vintage rentals for weddings, events, and home staging. Beth, the owner provided little vignettes for each vendor using vintage pieces that are available to rent.
It's no secret that I love intimate weddings with pretty details, and I enjoyed connecting with other wedding vendors that love the same types of events such as Tami, a wedding coordinator with Creatively Yours. Tami offers full and day-of planning. I always encourage my couples to consider hiring a planner to make sure all of the details come together smoothly and so that they can enjoy a stress-free wedding day while someone else worries about the behind the scenes things.
I can't even begin to describe how moist and delicious the cupcakes by Delish Cakes were. Also, how amazingly gorgeous and creative are show stopper cakes?
Are you looking for something really unique for your wedding? How about an ice cream cart or a grazing table? Cook's Ice Cream is the cutest little mobile ice cream cart and would be perfect for a late night snack after every one works up an appetite from dancing the night away! Fox & Company Design does the most amazing grazing tables and charcuterie boards. They would be perfect for appetizer receptions and cocktails hours.
Another great vendor that was there was Paper Love Club. Ashley is a boutique paper artist and specializes in fine art water color and calligraphy wedding invitation suites and other paper goods. The detail and colors in her work are stunning! Even her business cards are paper perfection.
Last but not least, we were joined by the adorable Luck Truck, a vintage pick up truck that you can rent for as a prop for your wedding. So cute!
